And my biggest question is this:

WHY haven't the Catholic bishops in Florida weighed in on this?

The Vatican did. Where are the shepherds? They could be out there with Jesse Jackson. (What a funny picture that would be.) LOL!

I'm very sensitive and get bad vibes about places. I've never been to this place, and try to keep rational when this type of articles are posted, but something has gone terribly wrong and that is certainly an epicenter.

For a long time, way before this, I felt like that window was a warning, sign or portent of some kind but had no idea of what. It was on a financial building originally. The message to me was how we use so much of our money on extravagances and shove God aside. A lot of dirty money has changed hands in this case.

Now I've gone over the edge since that window got broken and all the rest has gone down. That place reeks pure evil. Pity the decent people who live there.

Tonight I was thinking about our shepherds. Mel Gibson said on Sean Hannity that the bishop of the place had left the country. I will try to find out if that is true. I know Garabandal is not an approved apparition, but one of the messages was that we are on our own or words to that effect.

We will shepherd ourselves. Thank God there are still a few priests and protestant ministers who have the guts to speak out, and whatever previous gripes I've had with the Vatican about some things, they spoke out. I've also been disappointed in the pope about some things, but my heart goes out to him in his suffering.

Now we will watch the dominos fall. And fall they will. I won't live to see all of it.

Remember the Kennedy assasination? People weren't so ugly back then. I voted for Goldwater. It was the first time I voted in a presidential election. I grew to like Kennedy. I was horrified when he was assasinated.

I probably shouldn't post this, but I will. I have a minority friend and I told her I was mad at Bush (not so mad I wouldn't vote for him again all things considered, but disappointed how he couldn't do anything because of political pragmatism and the vultures on the left). She hates the Republicans. She said, "He is going to get assasinated." I said, "Is that what you want?" She didn't answer. She's no threat to him because she is disabled, but that's how much some people hate him.

The next day Jesse Jackson tries to come to the rescue. I wonder what she will say the next time she comes over. I don't hate her for being on the other side. She is just who she is.

After Kennedy was assasinated, a lot of bad things started happening to the main players. It was eerie. I do not believe to this day that they got to the bottom of it, but I don't lie awake nights wondering about it or reading books about it.

I have no way of knowing, but someone posted on another thread that all the Florida bishops except the one whose see includes Pinellas have spoken out against it.

I read that the local bishop forbade priests in his diocese from going to the hospice; and that the only priests who have gone there have been retired priests. Anyone else hear this?

As for nations being particularly oppressed by demonic spirits, all you have to do is read the OT.

From St. John Eudes:

“The most evident mark of God’s anger and the most terrible castigation He can inflict on the world are manifested when He permits His people to fall into the hands of clergy who are priests more in name than in deed, priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than the charity and affection of devoted shepherds. Instead of nourishing those committed to their care, they rend and devour them brutally. Instead of leading their people to God, they drag Christian souls into hell in their train. Instead of being the salt of the earth and the light of the world, they are its innocuous poison and its murky darkness. When God permits such things, it is a very positive proof that He is thoroughly angry with His people, and is visiting His most dreadful anger upon them. That is why He cries unceasingly to Christians, ‘Return, O ye revolting children...and I will give you pastors according to My own heart’ [Jer. 3:12-15]. Thus, irregularities in the lives of priests constitute a scourge visited upon the people in consequence of sin."
