A June 3, 1993 file photo showing Pope John Paul II praying in the crypt containing the sarcophagus of late Pope John XXIII, in the grottos beneath St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican. Pope John Paul II was buried Friday, April 8, 2005 inside this crypt once occupied by Pope Paul XXIII, whose body was moved after his 2000 beatification to the main floor of St. Peter's Basilica because so many pilgrims wanted to visit his tomb. Priests surround the altar during a commemorative Mass led by Italian Cardinal Camillo Ruini in St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, Sunday, April 10, 2005. Cardinals, clergy from the Roman diocese and crowds of pilgrims packed St. Peter's Basilica on Sunday for one of a nine-day series of funeral Masses known as the "Novembiales" for the late Polish pontiff who died on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Statues frame the window overlooking St. Peter's square where traditionally Pope John Paul II appeared on Sundays to deliver his weekly Angelus prayer, Vatican, Sunday, April 10, 2005. Throughout his 26-year pontificate, Pope John Paul II gave public audiences on Sundays, greeting from the window of his private apartments faithful gathered in the square below. Pope John Paul II waves to the faithful from the window of his apartment overlooking St. Peter's Square at the Vatican Sunday Oct. 15, 1995. The pope developed a high fever Thursday because of a urinary tract infection and was being treated with antibiotics at the Vatican, his spokesman said. The latest health setback for the 84-year-old pontiff came one day after he began receiving nutrition through a feeding tube. (AP Photo/Giulio Broglio)

In this photo made available by the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, the white marble slab of Pope John Paul II's tomb is seen inside the crypt in the grottos beneath St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, Saturday, April 9, 2005. The tomb bears the letters IOANNES PAULUS PPII, latin for Pope John Paul II, the dates of his 26-year reign and the first two letter of Christ's name in Greek, a common symbol that has roots in early Christianity. Sorry if this is off-topic

Pray that the cardinal electors listen to the Holy Spirit when discerning who the next pope should be:
Adopt a cardinal here

I've adopted a cardinal to pray for, and of course I'm praying for all the cardinals, but I'm also asking the Holy Spirit to make His voice heard more loudly by Cardinal Mahony.

Your message is very much on topic. Have you seen the prayer threads and Litany of the Holy Spirit thread?
