Kind of figured you would be heading to the SO church. Don't blame you. Just don't forget to pray for those in the ELCA who are trying to figure out what to do now.

I just hope the LCMS doesn't decide to jump off the cliff also.

I am one of those orthodox Lutherans who has promised to stay in the ELCA at least until the CWA this summer, and to help fight the "gay"/feminazi plague. So we are both in the same boat, and need to pray for each other. Those of us, such as myself, in "bue synods" without decent Lutheran alternatives if the ELCA continues on its suicidal course may need special prayers.

In our area, there are no ELCA congregations that would leave the denomination if it goes south, and the few Missouri congrgations are truly weird.

If the "gay" resolutions are passed, and if that feminazi hymnal is as well, many, many Lutherans may be departing for all sorts of other churches. Becoming Orthodox will be the best alternative for many, although many more will go to evangelical Protestant churches.
