Scripture is Holy Writ it is not canon law or church discipline anymore than a police department policy is public law. You seem to be expecting the Bible to conform to your expectations instead the other way around.

That's interesting. I think you don't have Scripture that defines and declares a Christian Priesthood other than what I've mentioned exists.
