8. Star Gazing/Astrology: Divination of the supposed influence of the stars upon human affairs and terrestrial events by their position and aspects. Isa I'm not sure how this jives with the Magi. Weren't they suppose to be following a star to find Jesus.

I'm not sure how this jives with the Magi. Weren't they suppose to be following a star to find Jesus. Good point. There isn't any evidence in the Bible that the star was sent by God. Especially since the "Magi" were unwittingly on a path to get Jesus killed. The star could have been sent by Satan.

There is a difference between astrology and astronomy. One is a recognized science.
