Remember when he related a story from Bishop Sheen.
He was on a plane and there was a women sitting next to him. The weather became pretty bad and some began to pray.
Later the woman started a converstion with the Bishop and he mentioned that he prayed for the country in regard to abortion. The woman than told him she was a witch and she prayed for abortion too.

My favorite is Fr Corapi.
Talk about Prodigal Son! Have you heard him refer to his Mother and all her friends praying for him when he was living his old life? He mentions it at conferences a lot and has such a warm smile on his face as he recounts how those ladies and their rosaries surely had something to do with his changing his life and finding his way into the priesthood. Fr. Corapi certainly gets one's attention! I sit up a little straighter & get the catechism out every time I see him on TV...LOL!
I am so saddened about Msgr. Clark and this broken family. How awful for a child to walk in on something like this and to be told that what was seen was not what it looked like. I'm praying for redemption...we are all sinners. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall."
Is all of this for sure?! I'm having a hard time believing this; guess I just don't want to believe this of the Msgr.

The devil is actively pushing for sexual perversions among all religious people because to do so creates havoc and disillusion among the remaining faithful. More souls go to Hell because of the sins of the flesh than for any other reason.
Priests must be pure, very pure. They should not busy themselves with anything except what concerns the Church and souls. The disobedience of priests to their superiors and to the Holy Father is very displeasing to Our Lord.

At this point that are allegations. The daughter has made these comments regarding incidents that happen, but one never knows perhaps she has been convinced she saw something she didnt
To be honest the stills that the Daily News has from the video tape made, do not make it look very good.

And there is great power in true redemption. Enjoyed your post and pray that redemption will throw it all back into the Temptor's evil face.
Pray for daily strength for all religious.

Fr. Corapi was given the gift of Apostolic preaching. He never loses focus and keeps his audience riveted on the topic. He uses these stories in much the same way Jesus taught through parables. What a testament to the power of prayer!

You know I had the same reaction as the audience when he told that story. I gasped.

I'd disagree, she's way too cute to be a mob mistress. Maybe she has some strong New York Italian mannerisms, but I don't get it from the photos I've seen.

Does Fr. Corapi have a sordid past? I don't know all that much about him.

Basically materialism, from what I recall. He put just about everything else before his relationship with God.

Them leaving in different clothes a few hours later is kind of hard to explain. Ugh...I just hate this. Of course, with photos and videotape, I guess Forest Gump could have been there, too. What a let down....

The prophecies and admonitions of Our Lady of Fatima and the angel are revealing themselves more and more, right before our eyes. We really need to do what she asked even more urgently than before. Such a sad day, how many (more) will have their faith shaken (even more) because of these kinds of scandals?

I saw that show...it gave me goosebumps when he relayed that anecdote.

He was a millionaire. Tells openly of his past which included drug and alcohol addiction.
He tells of driving his porche over 120 mph and being stopped by the cops. He was worried because he had over a pound of cocaine in the truck.
The cops that stopped him were so impressed with the speed of the car that instead of looking in the trunk they lifted up the hood of the car to check out the engine.

You're kidding! I had no idea! A millionaire? I didn't know that. Well, the fact that he answered the calling of the Lord to become a priest despite all he had increases my respect for him exponentially. Would that I could find such courage!

I see mware has already responded with basically what I was going to say. I think he sold real estate and had various other businesses, got caught up in Hollywood, cocaine, fast living, etc. and then lost it all.
I will add this: he said that he's only been spit on two times in his life; once, when he was a bum, literally living on the streets after he'd blown through his fortune on fast and hard living and the second time was at an airport, I believe, when someone saw him wearing his collar and, I guess with all the problems the Church has gone through, focused their ire by spitting in Fr. Corapi's face.
I have no doubt that he has forgiven both of these people.

I wish we could get him to come to the east coast for a series of lectures on the Catechism.
