One thing I would note is that Christian Science, although a root of the Ne Thought movement, is not New Thought. The movements have differences on visiting doctors, drinking, and other things. Mrs. Eddy taught that the body is not real; New Thoughters believe that the body is real and is part of the One Mind of God.

"What the Bleep" is not done by New Thoughters, although there is much common ground. Two of the scientists who appear in the film, Dr. Amit Goswami and Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, have taught at the Holmes Institute, the ministerial school of Religious Science. Much of what they say in the film is quite in alignment with New Thought, including a couple of key quotes: "Consciousness is the ground of all being" (Goswami) and "The real trick to life is not to be in teh know, but to be in the mystery." (Wolf.) (In his book, The Self-Aware Universe: How Consciousness Creates the Material World, Goswami writes: "The Universe is self-aware through us.")

“There is nothing you cannot be, do, or have.”

I cannot touch my right elbow with my right hand.
