I'm gonna have to insist you not make fun of Francis anymore.
To: Campion
Me: The soul is what is present with the Lord. It's not "sleeping".
You: It's not dead, either, then, is it?
I never said the soul is dead. I said the physical body left behind looks like it is "sleeping".
What I said is dead people don't talk to us on earth.

What I said is dead people don't talk to us on earth. Yes. I continue to ask: which people in heaven are "dead"?
What were Moses and Elijah doing at the Transfiguration?

"August 29, 2005 is when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans -- a week before the scheduled Southern Decadence parade that basically was flooded out..."
God managed to miss the area where the Southern Decadence events would have taken place, and instead managed to flood out a bunch of God-fearing folk in Mississippi.
So, you're saying that the Almighty has lousy aim...

Many saints have had the gift of bi-location while they were living. Think of what they can do now that they are in heaven!
Check out your facts before you speak falsehoods, please.

Go ahead and offer your proof. It's your statement, defend it.
Dead mortals don't talk to you.
I use the Bible as my proof. Yes, yes, I know that might not be good enough for you:
Luke 16:
[19] There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
[20] And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
[21] And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
[22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
[23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
[24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
[25] But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
[26] And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
[27] Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
[28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
[29] Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
[30] And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
[31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
And He is right! It wouldn't matter if peope COULD return. People wouldn't believe him/her anyway. Mos people don't believe what the Bible says - dead people don't return and talk about heaven - only Christ. Christ spoke more about hell than anyone in the Bible.
2Cor.5:8
[8] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
All these "messages" from dead mortals and these ridiculous apparations are ONLY the work of Satan. He's been very successful in diverting eyes from Christ. That is ALL this amounts to - sending you a decay, a fake, an imitation to pray TO and listen TO rather than Christ and knowing what He says in the Bible.
Keep in mind that when Satan, Lucifer or whatever you want to call him was thrown out of heaven, one third of the angels were thrown out too. My, my these demonic being are busy ... deceiving MANY. I am convined that people WANT to be deceived - "it makes em feel good!"

BTW, YOU have not proven it is true. You can't. You willingly believe a lie with NO evidence to support the lie.
Believe whatever you wish! Just pointing out some truth - the choice is yours ... on whether you favor truth or things that distract you from Christ and His teachings that make you "feel good".

The Bible is fine. How do you know your interpretations of the Bible are correct?

The Hebrew and the Greek bear me out.
Sometime sit down with an Orthodox Rabbi. They DO know their stuff. Or a Christian who studies the Greek and Hebrew ... you'll get the same conclusion.
BTW, YOU still have NOT presented me with ANYTHING to support this superstitious nonsense. Dead mortals do NOT talk to you.
As I've stated before, this is all a distraction to divert your eyes to someone other than Christ and His teachings - which do NOT endorse this chicanery.

"Dead" means they have departed the earth and gone somewhere else. Not snuffed out like a candle. In that sense, no one "dies". They leave the earthly vehicle/tent, and go elsewhere.
Where is the question.
Blessed Mother,
We ask you to intercede with your son, Jesus Christ, to save the soul of nmh who at this time continues not to believe in praying through intercession. Please bless him in his unbelief. Amen.

Here's a quote for you to ponder:

Romans 10:9-18 Psalm 19:8-11 Matthew 4:18-22
Few souls understand what God would accomplish in them if they were to abandon themselves unreservedly to Him and if they were to allow His grace to mold them accordingly. -- St Ignatius Loyola |

This thread was about "Apparition of Mary" to Josyp Terelya on the date Hurricane Katrina hit the US.
Note the message and the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Harvey.
It looks like Hurricane Irma is going to hit us, and there are two possible storms out there (one in the Gulf, and a storm following Hurricane Irma...)
