My Jesus, I trust in thee,
even as the darkness gathers.
My Jesus, I trust in thee,
even as the storm clouds deepen.
My Jesus, I trust in thee,
even when the lightning threatens.
My Jesus, help me trust in thee,
even though my heart quakes.
My Jesus, help me trust in thee
even though you may seem far way.
My Jesus, help me trust in thee,
even though evil seems near.
My Jesus, may I trust in thee,
even when sorrow breaks my heart.
My Jesus, may I trust in thee,
even in the darkness of my grief.
My Jesus, may I trust in thee,
even when I don't understand why.
Thank you for the Fatima prayers. Amazing how similar the Fatima prayers are to the Divine Mercy prayers, St. Josefa's prayers, etc. Reminder - first Friday/first Saturday is this weekend.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy
Spirit, Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive
us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass
against us, and lead us not into temptation; but
deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for
us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Scripture Reading:
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most
High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his
ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in
the forgiveness of their sins, through the tender mercy
of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on
high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in
the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of
peace. Luke 1, 76-79
Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as it
was in the beginning, is now and shall ever be, world
without end, Amen.
Divine Mercy, gushing forth from the bosom of the
Father,
I trust in Thee!
Divine Mercy, sweet relief for anguished souls,
I trust in Thee!
Divine Mercy, astonishment for Angels, incomprehensible
to saints,
I trust in thee!
Oh Father of mercy,
Hear our voice,
and let our cry come to thee,
for surely you have taught us
that unless the Lord build the house
those who build it labor in vain,
so we turn to you,
our source, our wisdom, and our guide,
and ask on bended knee
for you to pour out your mercy
on us and the whole world.
O my God!
I believe, I adore, I trust and I love you.
I beg pardon for those who do not believe,
do not adore, do not trust
and do not love you.
They are similar because they come from the same Source!
Francis the talking mule spoke to me one time.
What did he call you?
He didn't call me. I was there, duh.
Two appeared at the Transfiguration, did they not?
Dead people don't talk TODAY!
For believers ... to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I believe the Bible has it rightand to be applied TODAY!
"Mary, my Mother and my Lady, I offer You my soul, my body, my life and my death, and all that will follow it. I place everything in Your hands. O my mother, cover my soul with Your virginal mantle and grant me the grace of purity of heart, soul and body. Defend me with Your power against all enemies, and especially against those who hide their malice behind the mask of virtue. O lovely lily! (79)"
HUH?
MARY?
No thanks.
It is CHRIST that I pray to and put my faith in; certainly NOT MARY!
GEEEESSSHHH!
Don't direct that foul stuff to MY attention.
The Bible speaks of such lying wonders ... .
BTW, can YOU prove otherwise and while you do it, remember you're calling God a liar.
No, I don't believe in "soul sleep".
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The soul is what is present with the Lord. It's not "sleeping". The physical body that is left behind looks like it is "sleeping".
Eutychus? Luke:11?
If you feel that strongly about it, why did you jump on a Catholic themed thread where we would be talking about it? If you don't like it, don't inflict it on yourself.
But we LIKE Mary. No, we LOVE Mary.
We see her as our spiritual Stepmom, given to us by Jesus, both through our adoption into the body of Christ and by the words he spoke right before he died.
And your opinion of her expressed by aggressive outrage comes across as an attack on our beloved Blessed Mother, and really won't have much of an impact on our faith in Jesus, Mary, or the teachings of Mother Church - but it might color how we will interpret ANYTHING you say to us, and basically turn us off from listening to your message.
At moments like this, I get the words to "They will know we are Christians by our love," running through my head, and wondering if I should rewrite it....
For some reason, Josyp is alive today. Even he thought the woman was a hallucination (at the time).
But then, of course, you are educated and Wicca has more a standing in your life than God... Or so you seem to imply...
Talking horses (if that is what you are referring to) are more a part of the world of Wicca than the Kingdom of God... Sounds more like Harry Potter than reality...
As for Josyp Terelya, the fact he is alive defies all the natural laws. Only the Supernatural is left -- unless the KGB does not know how to kill people in their own prisons when the communists rule.
It was President Ronald Reagan who helped intervene to get him out of the Soviet Union. But then you only probably think of him as some actor with monkeys around him (Bedtime for Bonzo)...
However, in the Francis talking mule movies, Donald O'Connor was a very talented actor...
That would be news to Satan...
In devotion to Jesus Christ, One Million people came to Fatima around 1950. The focus of Fatima is Jesus Christ -- with His mother Mary as the messenger saying that people should repent...
Now I understand your thinking... Everything is to be given as credit to Satan... So you must be a servant of Satan...
Go ahead and offer your proof. It's your statement, defend it.
It's not dead, either, then, is it?
