Jack Nixon agreed. He said his experience with Farina was similar. "In my book," he said, "that's an improper way of acting. It's a red-flag."

*Jack is dealing with a red fag. He ought to match his behavior to meet the threat staring him in the face.

Absolutely wrong. Just the oposite. We have a DUTY to confront these bastards and take care of them on our own. Time for 2 or 3 good Christian men to go to the school and have a litle chin-wag with the local Christian Quislings and remind them of their Duties vis a vis the Bible,Canon Law, Common Sense,Christian Principles, and the Common Good.

1 Timothy 5

Them that sin reprove before all: that the rest also may have fear.

The men in that community have a duty to eliminate the public display of affective abnormality by these perverts. Either that or the perverts will take over everything - including the male children of Christian families with whom they desire to have unatural relations either now or when they get to be young adolescents.

The vaican has a duty to kep any church calling itself Roman Catholic in line with doctrine.

The laity is hardly not called, but the bishops and arch bishops are utterrly necessary to preserve the faith.

Try as they might the laity cannot replace absolute canonical authority.

Laity are called and feel responsible but are not trained and often not suffiecntly capable.

Bp. Brown is part of the Mahony group, he is on the list. Rome will get to him.

>>>I guess someone should write to the vatican.

That can be made a 'freep' and done here.

Start a thread for 'freep the vatican', link it to this thread, and provide a guideline for us all to compose letters and faxes.

We need to freep the vatican too. Heck with chin waggin. This Bishop shouldn't be in the position he holds. Time to go over his head.

What is the Mahony group?

What do you mean Rome will get to him?

Abp. Roger Card. Mahony used to control the appointments of the Ordinaries on the West Coast. Very recently that has changed. Rome is working its way down the list of heterodox Dioceses and making changes. I expect more to come. And more criminal charges against folks like the Cardinal Abp. of Los Angeles.

Is that the reason for this bold move of the Diocese taking this grant money from GLSEN (Joey has 2 daddies program)?

Do as much damage as fast as possible?

Looks like the Diocese of Newark is on the GLSEN payroll too.

In other words, the presence of the same-sex couple was not only ratified by the school administration; it became a cause célèbre.

The school was trying to be oh so tolerant. These were their 'token' homosexuals.

What people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is none of your concern or business. Your kind makes it very hard for me to be tolerant, but tolerant I must be. You are using the Catholic church to cloak your hate. All of us see right through you. Honestly, it's just pure ignorance that creates this kind of hate and discrimination. You should be ashamed to actually call yourselves Christians. I think 'hate mongers' is a more accurate moniker."

That parent sounds like your typical liberal Catholic; can't imagine that anyone would have an adverse opinion from his or her most wonderful one. If someone disagrees, they must be hateful. The one thing this letter writer couldn't see was the irony in the statement about the privacy of the bedroom. This couple was flaunting their lifestyle; there was nothing private about it, and the school was celebrating it.
