You've got a straw man, Christianity began on Pentecost, and it was after that that Christians began to come together to pray as Christ also commanded.
As someone else has pointed out every bit of the protestant liturgies, ever text they use, every tradition they do bother to practice comes not simply from scripture but from the apostolic church, which wrote all that down for them.
The New Testament wasn't even finalized until around 150. Yet you protestants are free to ignore the Catholic version and chase after heretical writings if you like; since 'Catholic' stuff ain't good enough for you why not add in the gnostic heresies, like the Gospel of Thomas?
