This should be a most interesting ceremony to watch. Whenever an Eastern Catholic saint is proclaimed, portions of their liturgy are woven into the Latin Mass. Last year, Nimatullah Al-Hardini was canonized along with 5 other saints. The gospel was chanted first in Italian then in Arabic, after which the Maronite priest processed the Book of the Gospels to the Holy Father for veneration. Meanwhile, a Maronite choir chanted the "Praise, Thanksgiving and Glory" response.

If Tradition holds, look to see some Syro Malabar prelates wearing richly colored vestments.

If Tradition holds, look to see some Syro Malabar prelates wearing richly colored vestments.

Personally, I much prefer crowns to mitres.
