Last night I happened to turn on the National Geographic Channel. They were re-running their program on the Gospel of Judas. What stunned me more than their support for its authenticity was the clever way in which they tried to debunk the Codex that makes up the Bible. They faulted St. Irenaeus for leaving it out, along with some 25 other 'gospels'. Hopefully this article will clarify any confusion you may have.
There are other "versions" of books which have been included in the New Testament. I once read that Revelations had HUNDREDS of versions, for example. One Freeper noted he has a compendium of several of the better known versions.
