Ah, but do you pray for those with these sins?

Because your condemnation will only harden their hearts more against the word of the Lord.

Read Proverbs...the rebellious and sinful despise reproof, but that's no reason shun the truth. There wouldn't be any argument with you if this was over molesting children, but in degenerated, hedonistic America...self-gratification, lust, envy, and a host of sins & vices are viewed as rights or even virtues. As for hardened hearts, I remember when Christ was asked by the Pharisses if it was lawful for a man to put away his wife...and he responded that no man shall put asunder what God has joined together and that Moses permitted it because of their hearts were hardened. He went as far as to say that a man who puts away his wife for any reason other than fornication has committed adultery...any man that has married a divorced woman has committed adultery. I suppose you can't tell people today, in a nation where over half of marriages end in divorce, in a nation with "divorce vows" (Hannity & Colmes did a segment on it), where the Catholic Church now permits anullments, that what they are doing is wrong...or un-Christian.

Did you read the title of the thread and then go strat to posting or did you start reading before going to comments, because I can't imagine having this discussion if in fact you did.

I agree that we should pray for them and that condemnation will harden their hearts. But it is God's condemnation, not ours. And it is our sacred duty to inform them of both His wrath and His provision for our sins. They hardren their hearts because they love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. To eliminate the bad news (God's wrath) is to nulify the Good News (forgiveness and new life in Jesus). They must see their need for the Savior or their penalty will be far greater than any man on earth could ever give them.
