Poor sinners! They always carry about with them thier own executioner; that is, a guilty conscience, which continually torments them. There is no pain more excruciating than that of a guilty conscience.

All the more reason to partake of the Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation) on a regular basis. Every month, every two months, every week -- everyone can set their own schedule! But set it and keep it!
