I couldn't find Mr. Boniface in my bible.

I couldn't find the word "Bible", either. That must mean the canon is an arbitrary concoction of man.

Probably so, certainly can't be proven otherwise.

Perhaps you're not looking closely. The word "Bible" comes from the Greek word "Biblos" which means "book". In the new testament alone, the word "Biblos" occurs in no less than 14 verses. See Mat_1:1; Mar_12:26; Luk_3:4; Luk_20:42; Act_1:20; Act_7:42; Act_19:19; Phi_4:3; Rev_3:5; Rev_13:8; Rev_17:8; Rev_20:12; Rev_20:15; and Rev_22:19.
