Actually, this thread is about the ordination of women and the Vatican opposition to it.
And my question still stands: how can the church say that women cannot be priests but still believe in the discipline of celibacy for male priests that isn't substantiated in scripture in Timothy. Does the Catholic Church even read the entire book of Timothy in relation to structure or just the parts of it that it wants?
