With this premise, I can questions the Prelates of the Church of Rome's decisions.
I can only wish that the energy that is directed against the Masons was directed against the common enemy of Christians: As in the Islamofacist Muslims.
Again, I'd like to reiterate that I do not find you to be an enemy of any kind; I think that you are a true and honourable man.
With that said, I think that you are reacting in defence of a position that you have maintained for many years. I have posted the link to an article that purports to illustrate the anti Christian nature of the Masonic orders. I found that article after reading the opening article of this topic which convinced me to do further investigation.
I too maintained that position for many years. These articles have convinced me with their logic and in their common sense. If they do not convince you, then that is entirely up to you.
Indulging in anti Catholic rhetoric isn't going to bring me on board with anything you may post.
This is 2006. We have all had to do some painful growing up as the world has deteriorated around us since the 1920s. Fraternalism, yours and mine, is under general assault for all the wrong reasons. There is much that is good in each order and not very much that is morally neutral much less good about our common opponents. You seem not so bad and I assure you that I am not so bad either. We can agree where we can agree, agree to respectfully disagree on other matters, and be warriors in common cause for most of the things that matter.
