Catholics will always rejoice when another soul for Christ is won.

And while Rob Evans gets a whole article on the subject both here and on the "Crossed The Tiber" website, Mary Schlobotnik's of DuBuque, IA converted eighteen months ago, and hers doesn't even merit a byline.

It would seem some converts are rejoiced over more than others.

If Mary Schlobotnik was properly catechized, it won't make a particle of difference to her if she goes unrecognized.

This past Easter year over 1000 people were received into the Church in my diocese. Nobody worried about whether they merited a byline.

OTHH, there is no harm in a TV audience hearing of the conversion story of person. In private lives, this happens more than one would think.
