These young ladies are orthodox and very definitely evangelical, in the sense of wanting to win souls for Christ. I know some of them (Nashville Dominicans); they teach my kids.
Their order just built a huge new motherhouse because the old one was stuffed to the gills with postulants.
If those are the Dominicans Sisters of Saint Cecilia, I can never turn down one of their fundraising letters. I think they just completed a huge new dorm for postulants if memory serves. There is also a Dominican Province called the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne named after the natural sister (or daughter; forget which) of Nathaniel Hawthorne located in New York. Their habit is different though.
