Hmmm ... I can think of a particular "prophet" who definitely denies the Father and the Son (in fact, he calls it "blasphemy") and who denies that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh as the Son of God, but thinks he was merely another prophet ... I'll give you a hint. St. John is buried in a land, once Christian, now ruled by followers of this particular antichrist ...

It appears that most everyone who decided to post on this thread did not bother to read the article. The Bible does not teach that there will be one antichrist, but rather many who are anti-Christ.

The coming Antichrist will not be born to a woman. The coming Antichrist cannot be killed by men. The coming Antichrist will have supernatural powers that far exceed anything men can do.

The antichrist was the serpent, was Herod, was Nero, was Caiaphas, was Hitler, was Saladin, was Muhammad, etc.

There WILL be a final antichrist - sort of the "Boss" anti-christ who will, of course, be defeated. When, where, and how is a mystery, however. God could cleanse the world over and over again without the final antichrist appearing. So, although the signs of the times point toward some sort of culminating eschatological event on the horizon, we could be merely in for another case of God turning over the chess board like He did time after time with the Israelites, followed by restoration. This could go on for millenia. We just won't know until it happens (or doesn't happen).
