hello friends, very interesting post, thanks. I just want to say that the eucharist or communion is being celebrated in many protestant churches every sunday. And as mentioned before (I think) reading the scriptures was and is a part of the passover rite and also singing - Jesus went to the hill after the Passover meal and sang hymns psalm 115-118 (114-117) as far as I know.
