An excellent post, and a great rebuttal to all this latest hogwash about "secrets" and "empowerment".
So much in Rosacrucianism and New Age religions comes from the Evil One.
All you have to do is make a bargain with him, and he will set the world at your feet.
Luke 4

4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Is that an "I can't believe it!" oh my, or a "gosh, that's too bad." oh my. :)
