There is a scripture I have searched for but am unable to find that pertains to this. It states that priests, preachers, etc. will be judged first and He is not pleased with those involved in misleading His children.

Here's a great essay on that understanding...

THE BIBLICAL ALERT FOR TEACHERS

"My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation." -- James 3:1

The Biblical Alert for Teachers is now on my favorites list - thank you so much for telling me about it.

"An occasional quote from man's writings is not wrong but an occasional quote from Scripture is. (He who has ears to hear)"

This quote from that essay means so much. There is not enough actual teaching from His Word in some of today's churches. It is difficult to get understanding when just a few verses are quoted. Now that I have begun to study by chapter and verse it is much easier to grasp the whole picture, His whole story, His whole letter to us. As He said, "I have told you all things - Have you read it".

Thank you again.
