No, we can't. If you stick with God's Word, you will stay on the right path. There are way too many denominations, for sure. But the Catholics are not the true church. Those who are inhabited by God through His Holy Spirit are the true church, my friend.

There are some here who say that they are inhabited by the Holy Spirit and therefore infallible in their beliefs. But that is as far as it goes. Some posts verge on Gnosticism, a great and terrible heresy.
Possibly there are individuals who do not need the careful guidance of the Church; I see very few of them here. I took the opportunity to reread a number of threads, and it is very clear that many of those claiming guidance by the Holy Spirit are very obviously being led by something else.
