"Comfy" churches are a pretty poor testimony to us.
God forbid we get the message out. Maybe we should do away with the gospel and have beds of nails to sit on for hours to show how religious we are.

Someone should really buy you "the fallacy detective" (I use it in homeschooling, it's great - along with its sequel "the thinking toolbox.")

Missing the point here. One of these days a bed of nails is going to be the least thing you will have to deal with. Some Christians are going to suffer for the faith, including die.
If the true gospel of Jesus Christ is preached, we can tolerate some discomfort & inconveniences. It's nothing compared to what is to come.
