What's your point?

Macoraba said "IMO Divine Mercy is the greatest private revelation ever given the Church!!!!!  God bless Pope John Paul the Great for promulgating it!" (#4)

A few years ago when I read that news article from Zenit, it gave me chills to learn that Pope John Paul II had been working on the Divine Mercy project before he was Pope, and 6 months later he becomes the Pope.  Sr. Faustina was beatified by Pope John Paul II, and then he made her a Saint.  The Second Sunday of Easter is now Divine Mercy Sunday.  He attached Indulgences to Divine Mercy Sunday.  He wrote the Encyclical Letter Rich in Mercy.  Many people used to call him "The Mercy Pope."

His name was associated very often with Divine Mercy -- Divine Providence...
I thank him every day for the Divine Mercy Devotion and what he did for the Rosary.  I had never even heard of this devotion before.

died on the night after a vigil Mass for Divine Mercy Sunday had been said
2002, Indulgences on Divine Mercy Sunday
2000, St. Faustina and Divine Mercy Sunday
1980, "Rich in Mercy"
1993, Sr. Faustina is Beatified
1978, Pope
he worked on her writings before he was Pope

it just sorta gives me a little chill

He was God's tool to get that message out....If any era needs lots of people praying for God's mercy upon the world, we surely live in it.
