I am continually irritated by the labeling of liberals as "progressive." What they do, what they believe, and what they force upon the rest of us is not progressive; rather, their actions and beliefs are regressive.

CS Lewis talked about the very practical need to reverse "progress" when the "progress" is in the wrong direction.
My better half uses the term "regressives" as well.
