“[T]he Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1st Thessalonians 4:16-17)

That is awesome and I'm looking forward to it but be very careful about what it means. It does not mean we will be taken away before the time of Satan. This verse was reference to the 2nd advent of Christ, not a "rapture" as taught today.
2Thess.2:2.Not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3.Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.
10.And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11.And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie.
My belief is that the "lie" is rapture. God sends this delusion to test us. Let no man deceive you!
Jesus "foretold us all things" and He never told us we would be taken from the tribulation. He did say that He would "never leave us or forsake us". He loves us so we have nothing to fear. Rather than rapture us away He taught us what to do in Matthew 24 (which He began with "Let no man deceive you"), Mark 13 and Luke 21.
When He comes again, 1 Thess 4:, it will be the 2nd. advent and all are changed. What a wonderful time.
