Can the head of the Anglican Church just excommunicate the whole Episcopalian Church in America? And, then have the individual members "re-join" the Anglican Rite, rather than create yet another "off-shoot"?
And, does the Anglican Church have claim to the property and assets of the Episcopalian Churches? Didn't the Anglican Church exist and lay claim to the assets before the Episcopalian communion joined THEM?
