I hadn't heard of these books or movies "The Secret" or the "Laws of Attraction". Anybody had any experience?

There is an advertisement on television (I don't know what for) where 5 or 6 people are on a tram heading up a mountain. The tram stalls and one guy (who is living the "Secret") tells everyone to think positively. In the corner another guy (must be a Freeper) looks around and sees the button to restart the tram. He pushes it, the tram continues up the mountain and the "Secret" guy thinks his power of self accomplished it.

Egotistical, it's all about me, I'm the greatest, I can do anything type of thinking. Instead of founding their life on our Father, they base it on themselves and wrap it up in a glowing, beautifully wrapped package.

Now that sounds funny.

That's certainly what it sounds like and makes sense that it's taking root in Hollywood.
