To: Dr. Eckleburg

I have no idea what God thought about that. Didn’t He know that the crucifixion was going to happen, even before Christ was born? If He did know it was going to happen, and He cannot be wrong, then how could it NOT have happened?

Not only did God "know" the crucifixion was going to happen, God "willed" it would happen in order to pay for the sins of His flock.

Read Isaiah 53 -- "...Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him..."
