And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:9-11 KJV)
That same "cloud" he went up on is the one that took Ezekiel. There are many references to those "clouds" in the Bible but I don't believe that is what Paul meant. I believe he meant it as he used the word in Heb.12:1 - ...compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses...
