The Pope never said that other denominations are not Christian, its only been spun that way. Spun which way, and by whom? The current Catholic spin on another thread says that we're apostates. Maybe you could explain how we can be apostates, not "true churches" but only "communities", and yet still be Christians?

I don’t speak for other FReepers. I speak for myself only.
And will post the Vatican document with highlights.
Most of the Catholic Parishes call themselves
‘communities’ too.

Maybe you could explain how we can be apostates, not "true churches" but only "communities", and yet still be Christians?If someone is baptized and believes in the Holy Trinity and the Hypostatic Union, then they are a Christian.
That's the definition.
