Thanks for your kind words. My radical feminist sister friend is in her 60s. Most of the feminist dissodent crowd that I have met are close to retirement age. Fortuntely, just like the new priests, most of the thriving younger religious orders are orthodox. It is only a matter of time when we will start to see improvement. For whatever reason many priests refuse to monitor their religious education programs at their local parishes.

With Pope Benedict 16, a new spring-time is coming. :-)

I think that we are going to see a lot of good fruit.

I don't know, but in the "old days," lots of priests were wary of crossing the nuns. Of course, the nuns then were stricter than the priests (and utterly orthodox), so it all worked out for the best! ;-)

I do believe a new spring-time is coming.

Just how it will manifest itself. just how long it will take, just how scattered or global it may be I can’t know, but I believe it is coming

On another thread regarding an interview with Pope Benedict’s secretary, the young Bavarian priest quotes from the French philosopher Rene Girard who said the “we are on the eve of a revolution in our culture” and that the anticipated change (for the good) “ will make the Renaissance of the 15th century pale by comparison.”

I won’t live to see it, but my many children, grandchildren and great-grand-children surely will.

Deo gratias.

Thanks for your post.

**Catholic apologist, Jimmy Akin has written the best book on justification called “The Salvation Controversy”. All Catholics and Protestants should read this book. He covers all of the controversial issues including the temporal consequences of sin, penance, indulgences, purgatory etc. by only referencing scripture.**

Putting this on my reading list after I read the book about how the conversion of Russia in 1984 saved the world from a nuclear bloodbath in 1985 by the Soviets — all revealed by St. Lucia {Fatima revelation] (I’ll look for the title of it!)

Wow, Tim! That was wonderful! I think I’ll print it out for my newly converted husband to read. Excellent! :o)
