I think of John MacArthur's book, The Gospel According to Jesus, as the clearest explanation of the Christian gospel ever written. While I feel that MacArthur is highly reliable when it comes to teaching the Biblical gospel, I wish he would stick with the gospel exclusively. I believe that John MacArthur is very wrong in his interpretation of eschatology.

I think of John MacArthur's book, The Gospel According to Jesus, as the clearest explanation of the Christian gospel ever written. As I recall, MacArthur was severely criticized by many of his fellow dispensationalist who objected to his views on the "lordship salvation" controversy, while his fellow Calvinists, mostly non-dispensationalists, applauded his efforts. His lack of consistency has left him as a bit of a man without a theological country.
