On a personal note, I knew Barbara Alton fairly well many years ago, and she was never a BSer. Knowing her, it seems more likely that she was strong-armed to distance Schori from the any direction, whether via a direct phone call or other methods of communication, to whitewash inconvenient truths regarding TEC from Wikipedia.
