Sometimes a little comedy makes a point better than 3000 scientists.

Could we get a small commentary on the clip?
Some of us have dial-up, so YouTube ain’t on the menu for us.

That’s the voice of Ken Nordine. The greatest voiceover guy there ever was. Pure, liquid voice like a cello.

Soon to be skewered for the following comment:

Now we know why there are so very few stand up comics doing creationist humor.

With all the fun that one could have with the meeting of God and Darwin, that was pretty sophomoric.

It’s always fun to watch people claim to know what God thinks.

Today, Bill Clinton again denied... he ever had sex with Charles Darwin.

However, Don Imus... called Darwin a "nappy headed evolutionist."

For all we know, Darwin is among the elect. There is no “price of admission,” so to speak, except to be chosen (at least according to some). God as Sovereign can call someone at the last millisecond of life.

We can speculate all we want based upon a person’s life, but to my knowledge there are still no advance copies of the Book of Life in circulation.

“Hey, Orel. What answer did you get for #3 on the science test?”

“Jesus.”

Gotta love those "Pearly Gates" jokes...

Above, Col. Sanders begins to grow concerned...

Sorry, this cropped version is all I can find of this particular Far Side cartoon (with all due thanks to Gary Larson).

Yea, ain't it.

And it's always amusing to me to see how people seem to think that we could ever understand what God wants for us. We are as a grain of sand in the cosmos and yet we think we can approach God. It's amazing. Just get down on your knees and pray that God forgives us our arrogance.

The clip assumes facts not in evidence. Beyond the myths, there is no evidence of any “Pearly Gates”
