My experience is with the LDS I personally (family and friends) know as I have said previously.
You are free to believe the statement or not.
I find it interesting that you say every ward in every state is studying the exact same thing at the exact same time.
Does that not go to the direct point that there is no direction from the Holy Spirit for revelation or leading from God?

Here is the link to the New Testament teacher's manual and the student guide for Sunday School. New Testament Gospel Doctrine Teacher’s Manual

As for us all studying the same thing at the same time, Pretty much true, however, it depends upon the teacher. Some teachers invite comments, other teachers talk the whole time. Some wander off the subject of the lesson, other teachers teach right from the manual, word for word. We are encouraged to study the lesson for that week and read the related scriptures. There can be some lively discussion about the topic.

Do you understand much about the Spirit and/or revelation? or are you just yanking my chain? What does the fact that the same lesson is taught throughout the land have to do with the Spirit or revelation being involved?

All I can say about your LDS “friends” is they must not go to church much if they haven’t learned about the bible.

BTW, what is the stick of Joseph?
