The Orthodox liturgy sung in Spanish is extremely beautiful. Spanish really meshes well with Byzantine chanting. Absolutely beautiful.

A significant number of Orthodox Christians in Mexico, are descendants of Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian immigrants who came to Mexico over the last century, as well as Mexican converts in the Orthodox Church as one can see in the photos.

I found this as well while surfing through videos related to Orthodoxy about a month ago. I thought the same thing about how beautiful the liturgy is in Spanish. We recently had a Priest visit our church who was going to Mexico with his family as a missionary. I’m always impressed by people who are willing to go to another country, family and all for the gospel.

The liturgy was all vocalized by the choir - no organ or any other instrument was used even though it sounds like a pipe organ was used.
