“Awesome God” is a great song if the verses are included. Without the verses, the chorus is weak. With the verses, the context of “awesome” is the old fashioned awe-some sense, not the surfer dude sense.
How about “Magesty” and
“Lord I lift Your name on high” is my #1 all time worst song.
Even worse than Barry Manilow’s “Mandy.”
