I see alot of black/white on catholic threads.
People assuming that those who aren’t towing the line on this teaching must not respect life - or are materialistic - or are utilitarian - or they don’t love children.
I’m just trying to show that it is possible to wind up in this spot without being any of those things.
You're human. Life is hard when we're human :-). We all are, but our weak point are different. We should support one another where we need it.

The young tend to be severe, and love justice (because of their innocense.) But you get old enough, you realize some of your faults are --- well, there they are -- and you love mercy. I'm feeling my age lately.
