Yep, I’ve long believed that the left’s assault on Anglicanism was a “test run” for their assault on Catholicism which they see as the key to destroying Christianity as a whole.
Have they ever slowed down?
The only reason they have not beat to death most Evangelical churches is because many are independent (e.g. Fundamentalist Baptist, Pentecostal, Non-denominational, etc.).
The large denominations of Christianity are easy prey.
This is not Catholic bashing because all denominations seem to have their heretics but the Catholic church has plenty of liberals working from within to undermine sound doctrine. Outside forces will not be any worse.
