I hope they don’t bring kneeling back. I have a terrible time getting back up!
I saw that video and it reminded me of the time (last geologic age ( -;)that my veil slipped across my face. I had my eyes closed and hadn’t noticed it. The deacon took the paten and brushed the veil aside. I was quite mortified!
Exactly - it's not the kneeling, it's the GETTING BACK UP. You should have seen Steve0113 and me one Good Friday - we were too late to get seats for the Stations, so had to stand in the back. We had to help each other back up after every kneeling. Pitiful.
I used to kneel all the time without worrying about it a bit. But when we went to a Tridentine Mass at the Cathedral and they had no kneelers, just cold stone floor, I thought I was going to DIE!
