You can’t reconcile with people who waste no opportunity to skewer the Church and in fact spend a great portion of their days trying to find things to accomplish that. The mere fact of their deep-seeded hatred of the Church, that was established by Jesus Christ, points to a very sick heart and faulty intellect.

Do you have any mirrors in your house?

As we've seen over and over on these threads, the primary difference between Protestants and Catholics is that Protestants believe Scripture is the inspired word of God and the Holy Spirit is God's means of instructing men through His word.

OTOH, the RCC teaches that a changing body of men (the pope and the magisterium) is God's appointed instrument of instruction, thus putting "other mediators" and "another Christ" between God and men.

Which is condemned by God's word.

The article is correct in one distinction, however. The RCC is materially-minded, while Protestants are spiritually-minded.

The RCC believes physical matter can actually become holy (which is a type of wizardly alchemy) while Protestants know that only God is holy, and all whom God inhabits, by His grace alone.

And I doubt the husband of this priest's neice calls himself "Jimbo." It's usually a pejorative meant to demean and belittle.
