Only some of the Protestant groups approach it, and even they do so only to a small degree

I know of no Protestant denomination that embraces Gnosticism in the least.

Some charismatic/Pentecostalis/non(anti?)=denominationalist groups’ concepts of prophesy get pretty close to the notion of gnostic revelation, but I wouldn’t associate these with any mainline denomination, and that one characteristic merits only a description of approaching “to a small degree.”

If you differ with Mormonism being called a Protestant denomination, fine, but I think Mormonism has as strong of a gnostic heritage as any denomination out there.
