Mary had free will.
You view it from an absolutist, Calvinist, Islamist-like literal view of Scripture and God that doesnt allow for free will.

will conceive..."
Catholics believe God is omniscient don't they? God didn't have to ask her permission. He
knew what would happen when He sent the angel to tell Mary.
Do you think her "free will" would have allowed her to say "no" and catch God by surprise.
If God says something will happen it will happen. God chose Mary to bear his son and sent an angel to tell her so. That is where her Blessedness among women came from not her "free will" choice.
