I live in the South, too. His visit has been wonderful. I'm also going to print out everything and read it and study it. I felt he was addressing not only Catholics but all of our non-Catholic brethren, who are in the majority here in the South.
Yes, I am in Louisiana, which does have larger Catholic presence than most Southern states, but I have lived in Arkansas and Mississippi for graduate school and work, and know those states, like others, have small Catholic populations.
