It just bugs me to see people receive by hand. It reminds me of people going through a McDonalds drive thru.
Jesus broke the bread and passed it around the table. He didn't worry about any crumbs which may fall on the table but, then, He didn't have the advantage of having a Church which would invent a "better" way.
