A Messianic Pastor is the head of a congregation that follows the Hebrew Torah walk of faith vs the Greco Roman walk of faith.
Correct me if I’m wrong - but I believe they follow the Torah AND they believe that their Messiah was/is Jesus. (Just like the first disciples). So they also believe the New Testament as well.
I asked a Messianic Jew Rabbi if he considered himself a “Christian” based on some of the comments I had read awhile back on FR. He looked at me funny and said “of course!” But, on further discussion he said that because he is Jewish and most of the people he witnesses to are Jewish, he prefers to be called a Messianic Jew. He said the Jews he talks to understand the term “Messiah”, while the term “Christian” is almost derogatory.
Does that mean they are living under the Law?
